Q: Do I have to wear shoes to the Tav?
A: Yes, you can wear thongs or else anything you want, just have something on your feet.

Q: I'm not 18 but can I go to the Tav if I'm not drinking?
A: No you cannot, due to laws the Tav is an 18+ venue only.  You can't be in the tavern if you're not over 18 and have the correct ID.

Q: Do I have to show I.D. when I go to the Tav?
A: If asked you will have to show your I.D.  The only forms of I.D. accepted are Current Australian Drivers Licences, Current WA Proof Of Age Cards, and Current Passports.  If you don't have the right I.D. You will be asked to leave.

Q: All I have is a passport and I don't want to lose it can the tav hold onto it while I'm there?
A: Yes, we understand a passport is not a good thing to lose.  If you're having a few and think you might lose it then just give it to the friendly bar staff and they will look after it for you.

Q: Can I purchase food?
A: We do not serve food but there are vending machine facilities available inside or you can buy food from the food court and bring it down.

Q: Is there an entry fee to the Tav?
A: During regular opening hours the Tav has free entry, however for entry to Tav events (such as mudrock) there is a small fee.

Q: Where is the best parking for the Tav?
A: Carpark 3 and 4 are located closest to the Tav, if you do not hold a current Murdoch University parking permit then you will have to purchase a ticket (between 8am and 4pm). Bus stands are also located close as well as the train station for those who wish to have a few.

Q: Can I work at the Tav?
A: Yes there are opportunities for students to work at the Tav.  You just have to have your RSA certificate and be friendly.

Q: Does the Tav serve jugs of beer?
A: What is a Tav without Jugs of beer? Patrons can enjoy their favourite beers (and cider) on tap and share a jug with their friends.

Q: Where do I purchase tickets for Tav events?
A: Just over the bar at the tav.

Q: Can you B.Y.O?
A: No, you cannot bring your own alcohol to the Tav.
