What are School and Faculty Representatives?

As a student, you'll be represented not only by the Guild Council, but by student representatives on your school board and on your faculty committees. They'll take up student concerns on a school or faculty basis, and ensure that student concerns are being heard at every level.

Every school and faculty has one or more student representatives to ensure the student voice is heard. Their role is to liaise with their school or faculty, ensuring students are adequately supported, and keep up-to-date on developments within their School or Faculty.

They attend School/Faculty Boards, speak on the views of students, and report back to the Education Council and Education Vice-President about what is happening in their school or faculty. Student representatives are encouraged to blog and write about their experiences in Metior.

They can help students find assistance, or take on problems in their School or Faculty.
